American Airlines Flight 191 was a regularly scheduled domestic passenger flight which crashed on the afternoon of May 25, 1979, due to its left engine detaching from the wing, causing a loss of control. It is known for being the deadliest aviation accident to have occurred in the United States, with all 271 occupants on board killed on impact, along with two people on the ground.
Photographs of the fatal crash are publicly available and can be easily viewed. However, it is known that footage of the crash was also captured but have not resurfaced in any way since.
