Bluey is an Australian animated preschool television series which premiered on ABC Kids on 1 October 2018. The program was created by Joe Brumm and is produced by Queensland-based company Ludo Studio. The show follows Bluey, an anthropomorphic six-year-old (later seven-year-old) Blue Heeler puppy who is characterised by her abundance of energy, imagination and curiosity about the world. The young dog lives with her father, Bandit; mother, Chilli; and younger sister, Bingo, who regularly joins Bluey on adventures as the pair embark on imaginative play together.
In 2020, the show's creator Joe Brumm revealed that a pilot of Bluey was created but has not been released to the public yet. Not much is known about this pilot, however, it has been confirmed that the 2015 pilot was five minutes long, similar to episodes of Peppa Pig. Some concept art was also posted on Twitter, but the post was deleted 5 days later for an unknown reason. An YouTube channel has promised to upload the pilot (or a clip of it) in high quality onto YouTube when they find it. However, the video has not been uploaded yet.
