How Murray Saved Christmas is a 2014 animated musical television special, directed by Peter Avanzino and written by Mike Reiss. The story, narrated in verse, is based on Reiss's 2000 picture book of the same name. Voice actors included Jerry Stiller, Sean Hayes, Kevin Michael Richardson, Jason Alexander, John Ratzenberger, and Dennis Haysbert. The special premiered on December 5, 2014, on NBC. It was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics. The special was the first time Universal Animation Studios produced anything for NBC.
A week later, it got released on DVD. My friend Corey got himself a DVD of How Murray Saved Christmas from a local store for 2$. Whenever i came to visit Corey, we used to watch it alot and we had a great time with it.
However on December 23, 2020, Corey called and told me he couldn't find the How Murray Saved Christmas DVD anywhere because it was stolen by a unknown person and set his house on fire, causing minor damage and then he return from nightclub, it's gone.
